Live Virtual Classes
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors has voted to allow live virtual learning classes in addition to in-person classes for general contractors to satisfy their required eight hours of continuing education (CE) for license renewal. We have recently added additional live virtual classes to our course offerings.
How Does A Live Virtual Class Work?
NCBI conducts our live virtual classes via the Zoom video conferencing tool. Two days before your class date, we’ll send you a link to join via Zoom. On the day of your class, click the link, join with your microphone and camera turned on, a moderator will check you in, and you’re all set.
NOTE: the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors requires students to have proper technology and equipment to reliably access live virtual classes. At a minimum, this includes:
- A computer or other device with camera and microphone capabilities (student connection via cell phone is not allowed)
- Broadband internet access with a strong internet connection capable of maintaining connectivity
- Software requirements (i.e. operating system, browser, etc.)
